| It is very unsettling! A few years back we had a vehicle stolen from our garage in the middle of the night! We obviously reported it only to have a police officer say to us "hope you have a better day", that was it, no finger prints, no pictures our other vehicle had been rummaged through and passenger door left ajar as well as glove box. Our car was found 2 weeks later torched on the south side of Nampa, we have no idea who did this. It took just about a year to close the claim with our insurance too! Ugh, talk about proving your innocence as we were questioned separately and treated as if we were guilty of something. It was finally taken care of but now we are more cautious about everything and everyone surrounding us. | |

| I agree it very unsettling. I have lived in Nampa my entire life and i remember growing up and never having to lock our doors and worry about this. A lot of people move here because of the fact that its a smaller and safer place to live, but unfortunately others that want to take advantage of people think the same. | |

| i do agree its a very scary topic especially when u hear it going on in the community around you. its sorta hard to place the blame on a particular reason for this i think, but if you want my real opinion, i think it has to do with all the gang activity in the valley and all the hispanic culture that has invaded our state. | |

| Many of you, Americans have nothing better to do but blame hispanics for all crimes. Well, if you pay attention to the news and newspapers, there are plenty of your kind that do these crimes and even worse. So don't you go blaming hispanics. There are MANY, Americans dressing like gangsters, doing and selling drugs, Thefts, Vandalizing, Burglary and many more crimes...... It's everywhere, whether their black, brown or white.... the color does not matter! These people choose to live this way maybe because of their childhood growing up and they had parents who didn't give a SH** about them.... Now if it weren't for us Hispanics working out in those fields, you sure in the hell wouldn't have any thing to feed you or your family's face with, now would you??????? | It's about the fact that people want something for nothing these days. Heaven forbid you have to work hard to get something. Thanks to our Government and the Welfare System it created, many people have the mind set that if you sit home on your butt and collect money from the government that's an ok thing. Forget working hard to earn a living. This is being translated over to their kids as well. Mom and Dad don't work and get free things, so why should I work, when I can get free stuff too. I'll just take something that doesn't belong to me. So, you can't catergorize Hispanics in this, because I have seen PLENTY of white people who are just as guilty of this. In fact, most of the hispanics that I know are more than willing to work 3 times as hard as us white people, so you need to make sure you know what you're talking about first before you go blaming any kind of race. | |

I have seen a lot of XIV stuff around Nampa lately. I grew up in the San Fran bay area and I remember seeing a lot of XIV suff around. I have never seen that in Nampa though until recently. Kind of scary. Also, I hear sirens all the time when I try to sleep at night. It never used to be like that either! CVal- you said "You won't be able to say anything negative or critical about "non-whites" without being branded 'racist'". Isn't saying negative things about a group of people based on race, racist? I think it's the definition. |
