Dangerous dogs

We've had several dog attacks recently. Do you believe cities should have specific laws governing ownership of certain breeds?

breed specific rules bySAMMYJO2 months ago (0 votes) (report abuse) (reply)
I truly believe that that there should be no breed specific laws! It should be individually on all breeds, just because one dog or a few attack or bite should not be a ban on all dogs in that blood line or breed. Any dog can be taught to be aggressive. Dogs just want to please their owner so if they are rewarded for showing aggression and protectiveness of there property family etc it starts bad habits that can cause harm. Breed specific laws are discrimination it is saying because one did it they all will? every animal has its own personality they are not stamped out with the same traits, temperments, eye color, coat color. How can you define one breed of dog as vicious every single one of them, come on. I do not think we need another law telling us what to do, have, buy, or sell. What we do need to have inforced is if your dog bites even one time unprovoked it gets euthanized, no matter what breed it is. I want to know why this little boy Korbin was left unattended in the yard with dogs of any breed! He is only 3 years old! Put the blame where it belongs; on the adult that was supposed to be WATCHING over him, its called child care. This had to be tragic for all involved.
YES to Breed-Specific Laws byCVal1 month ago (0 votes) (report abuse) (reply)
Pit bulls should be prohibited. They've proven themselves to be consistently vicious, aggressive and unpredictable enough, in Idaho and across the US. Too many people have lost their lives and their limbs because a few selfish idiots believe it's their "God-given right" to own a vicious animal. It is not a "God-given right". I agree the owners should be prosecuted if they were present when the animal attacks someone, but the owners can't be expected to be constantly watching their dogs.

PIT BULL KEBAB

Lean cut Pit Bull meat
Assorted veggies: mushrooms, pearl onions, cherry tomatoes, green pepper, (cut into bite size pieces)

MARINADE:

2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
3/4 c. water
6 tbsp. soy sauce
2 tbsp. cooking oil
1 tbsp. vinegar

Cut Pit Bull meat into cubes approximately 1 inch square. Place in prepared marinade overnight or minimum 8 hours. When stringing meat and veggies onto skewers, push close together if you want meat more rare and juicy; leave space between if you want crispy and well done. Reserve marinade to baste over kebabs while cooking. This gives veggies extra flavor and keeps meat from becoming dry. Recipe is best for outdoor grill. Serve over bed of hot rice.
