My girlfriend and I drove down from Boise last week to try the newly opened Market Limone. We had gotten word from some people in the industry that it would be a good thing to check out. When we arrived we had to wait about 10 minutes until someone noticed us. A young girl then led us up a flight of stairs that took us into a open dining area. Causal nothing fancy. Relaxing. I then noticed a giant movie screen. I asked the girl what that was about. Oh we play movies during dinner. WOW now thats different. So why are no moives playing? I asked. She scurried off to start a movie. Which in all honesty we were not into. We wanted some quaility time dining and relaxing and talking with each other. Any way after about another 10 minutes or so our server. Whose name I won't mention came up and was gracious to us and told us about the food. However she forgot to bring menus. Several minutes later again. We finally got our wine. The food took almost 45 minutes to hit the table,and once we got it,it was cold. The girl appologized profusely. And we got the well the kitchen is busy. Well there were only 8 people in the dining area? I had the boars rib which was tough and not very flavorful. The presentation was okay. My girlfriend had some type of fish,which she said was very bland. I think the best part was a pear tart we both shared after words. It was good. Any way we left very disapointed and felt it was a waste of our time. We are hopeful that they get their kinks and organization together and from what we saw a chef and wait staff that knows the industry! Will we go back probably not we have to many good options in Boise to drive so far to be so dissapointed.
